In the nearest future Russia is going to enter the World Trade Organization. Then, taking into account the geopolitical and geo-economic position of Kaliningrad region, it will have to integrate into the international division of labor system in the Baltic Sea Region. According to many experts including «Business-Expert» company, amber industry, tourism and recreational complex can become industries of specialization, topical for Kaliningrad and its region from the standpoint of international division of labor. Moreover, atomic energy can also become such an industry in case the Baltic NPP will have been built by 2016-2017.
